Volkswagen showcased its electronic car model called e-Golf ID recently at an exhibition in France. It is one of the first produced by his group: Modular Electric Drive Kit (MEB) which deals specifically with electric cars. They are scheduled to release it in 2020 with playback starting in 2025.

It is expected to have a range of 400-600 km. The ID electric motor is expected to be placed at the rear of the car. This will allow the front end to have a lighter turning radius.
