The 10 Fundamental Principles of Blogging

After reading various blogs and various materials on blogging, monetizing your site, internet marketing, etc., I came to the conclusion that almost all bloggers agree on certain basic principles that every successful blogger has consciously or unconsciously followed throughout his life. over the years. Among the principles observed are the following:

1.) Blog about your passions: write about something you are passionate about. Something in which you have reached a level of experience, something that turns you on, something that makes your eyes open when it is talked about, something that surprises and surprises you and opens your mouth.

2.) Blogging for People – While search engine optimization is something every blogger should seriously consider, it shouldn’t take precedence over people. Blogs shouldn’t just be keywords, tags, or any other tricks to make sure we all get better search engine results. What’s important is that people keep coming back to your site because your post actually helps them or is relevant to them. I think it was the legendary salesman John Chow who said “People first before Google”.

3.) Blog Frequently – The length of the post is not as important as its frequency. Posts can be long or short depending on the subject matter. The important thing about the blog is that the blogger updates his blogs frequently.

4.) Just Blog: If you’re a new blogger, don’t worry about your site stats or if you don’t have any comments on your site yet. Just blog! Search engines take a while to index your site. Also, if you write good posts and are blogging for people, the traffic will just flow.

5.) Learn more about blogging: Bloggers shouldn’t stop learning how to be more effective at their craft. Learn more about topics about how to be effective on your blog, about search engine optimization, etc. The moment you stop learning, you stop blogging.

6.) Bloggers Are Readers – Personally, I think there’s nothing to blog about if you don’t read about your passions. You must have an insatiable thirst to learn and a passion for communicating what you have learned to your readers.

7.) Blog with a Timeline – This is something I haven’t read but am personally trying to implement. I think having a blogging schedule will force you to think of something to blog about. This may not work for others as they only blog what comes to mind. Being a structured person, I work best when I stick to a structured way of doing things. Using a blogging program will also ensure that you have balanced the number of articles in the categories that you want to blog.

The following is the My Blogging schedule that I plan to implement:

Sunday – Theology / Life (Something About)

Monday – Technology Including Word Press Tips

Tuesday – Financial Management

Wednesday – Law, law practice, law students

Thursday – Financial Management / Technology

Friday – Leadership/entrepreneurship/business

Saturday – Life (Something About)

8.) Personalize your blog – When readers read your post, they should feel like you are speaking to them personally. Don’t use fancy words or be too erudite so that your readers have to look through a dictionary before they can understand what you’re saying. Talk to them in layman’s terms as much as possible, no matter how technical the topic. Inject a little humor if you want.

9.) Aim for excellence on your blog: Edit your posts, review your layout and design. Make sure it is easy to use and easy on the eyes. The principle of excellence applies very well when it comes to blogging.

10.) Blog for Life – Don’t view blogging as something you’re doing temporarily just because you have nothing to do from now on or something you do to make a certain amount of money and then you will. then stop blogging as you have already achieved your goal. He plans to blog for life. Blogging can bring you monetary “blessings.” However always consider that such is only secondary. As you go through your daily experience, having a lifelong blogging attitude will make you appreciate such experiences even more, as you will want to write about them in your next posts.
