Today, some spiritual teachers and advisors still offer the same advice that when you find your higher life purpose, your true path, you will know that it is the right one for you because it will be “easy.” I was also given this advice and it confused me for a while because I didn’t see any of the options before me as easy. Now, years later, I can explain and develop these ideas.

First of all, it was not exactly as they told me. Having been through it, I did not find my higher purpose in life to be easy at all. I’m sure I’m not alone. There are many people who can honestly say that they do not see an easy road ahead of them. However, when you find yourself on your true path and follow it despite obstacles, you will receive assistance and feedback from the universe in the form of new insights, favorable synchronicities, more flow in life, signs, amazing results, and more universal cooperation. It won’t make it easy, but your heart will recognize that you are being supported by a higher power and this will make your path easier. You will also notice that when you follow your inner guidance and then benefit as a result of moving forward, everyone involved benefits as well (ie it will be a win-win situation).

I know that the near future will not be easy because there are many changes in the world and many obstacles will appear in your path that will test you. A new paradigm (which is connected to 2012) is emerging, a new way of perceiving life on this planet, but before we can get there many of our most cherished beliefs will need to be set aside. This is all part of preparing for 2012 and it is not easy to do. Examining your most cherished beliefs and starting new behavior patterns is not that easy.

Every time you overcome an obstacle, a new one is likely to come your way. And if you have the courage to listen to your heart, your inner guidance, and move on, you may find yourself at odds with others.

However, when you overcome the obstacle, you will be stronger and wiser, and this is the point of this Earth Experience. As a result, you will appreciate life more. Your heart will be more open than ever because of what you experienced firsthand. You will know yourself completely. You will know who you are and what you are capable of when the going gets tough. And one day you will look back and say that you are grateful for everything. Oh really. You will experience appreciation and gratitude on a whole new level. I can say all this without reservation because it is what I experienced.

I know some teachers say that we are meant to have it easy, that we are meant to just enjoy the butterflies and bunnies in life, and that ego is the devil that creeps into your life, but I have to respectfully disagree on everything. account It is the higher self that deliberately planned to experience the challenges for the noble purpose of soul growth. The various forms of separation, including the most original separation (the supposed “Fall from Grace”) were designed by the Higher Self to grow through challenging firsthand experiences. The Earth Experiment worked because the ego mind was unaware of the divine design. And really, how can you fully enjoy and appreciate the gifts of this life if you haven’t experienced the challenges first? I can say that anything worth pursuing is not that easy and it is better to challenge yourself and overcome those challenges and succeed in the end than to experience no challenge at all.

In any case, your higher self will not deny you the experience of living the challenges that you set yourself and, from there, fulfilling your higher life purpose. Just get behind your higher self and follow it and step by step you will be shown the way.
