Network Marketers – Are You Marketing Offline?

Network Marketers: Do They Use Delivery Cards? The Internet has become so ubiquitous that many network marketers have abandoned offline marketing methods altogether.

So I have to thank the internet for asking you this question, but do you use them? In case there are any newbies (people new to the network marketing industry) reading this, I’ll explain what a pop up card is. You industry veterans, wait a minute.

A pop up card is an offline marketing method of promoting your business opportunity by essentially placing a classified ad on a business card. On yellow card with black ink. On the card will be a catchy phrase with the lead capture page’s website and/or phone number. They’re called drop cards because you just “drop” them almost anywhere and everywhere there’s a lot of foot traffic.

Drop Cards are also known as sizzling cards. The most popular drop/sizzle cards are those that look like money. Some of these cards folded in a certain way resemble the real McCoy to the point, people can’t help but pick them up if they see them lying on the ground, etc.

In fact, I once thought I found $100 in the bathroom of an Outback Steakhouse restaurant. And to my dismay, I opened it only to see that it was an advertisement for a weight loss opportunity. People will pick up a card, read it, put it away and reply if they are curious or put it back where they found it. Very few people will pick this stuff up, read it, and then throw it away.

Money cards are very viral because people find them and then show them to others who show them to others and so on. Using these cards virally can get your message across to many more people than boring yellow business cards with black ink.

So are you using them? And if so, where do you “drop” them?

Here are some places:

  • grocery stores
  • The mall
  • laundry mats
  • Restaurants
  • Sports events
  • festivals
  • flea markets
  • dry cleaners

The list could go on and on.

But those spots are just the usual places you can drop sizzling cards. Here are some more ideas you could try.

  • Go to Barnes & Noble and various other bookstores and head over to the self improvement section and place them in the books there.
  • Leaving a card (especially the $100 bill delivery card) with a nice tip at your favorite restaurant.
  • Placing $100 dollar cards in the dollar bill feeds of soda/soda machines.
  • Placing $100 cards in movie vending machines like Red Box.
  • Place them around laptop display areas at WalMart or Best Buy and other stores. Be creative. These cards do work.

Yes, the internet is great, but you should also add offline methods to spread the word about your fantastic business that can change people’s lives.
