Here’s the thing. If you say that my wife does not respect me, there are things that you are doing absolutely wrong in your marriage. And the worst part is, you probably feel like you’ve been doing everything right.

Most marriage “specialists” will give you the old bullish line about paying more and more attention to your wife, validating her feelings, buying her gifts to let her know that you care.

In fact, through a number of misinformation, such as through books and movies, we followed that advice only to be seriously disappointed in the results.

Your wife does not show you respect because you are not the man women respect …

Oh! That might hurt a bit. It can hurt a lot. It hurt when I first realized it. You see, I was having serious marital problems for a while. In fact, I ended up solving those marital problems in the old, usual way you hear about.

Now I will say this. If your marriage is in serious trouble, then do what SOME of the marriage experts (really, only one in particular that I would recommend) … but doing some of the normal marriage counseling stuff will work to get your marriage right.

# 3 Start working on the things YOU can fix right away (your 50% … the only part that can really change)

So that’s a good start for a marriage that is in trouble. It’s not easy, but those things will get you started on the right track.

But once I got my marriage back on track toward what seemed great, a distance began to grow in my wife. She was showing signs of disrespect towards me as her husband. After I’ve been doing all the things that were supposed to be okay and making her fall head over heels in love with me.

We weren’t fighting, but surely she didn’t have that real respect for me, and she was actually starting to lose her attraction to me as well. Unfortunately, the two go hand in hand, the wife has no respect and the wife has no attraction to you.

I knew something was wrong and I was missing a piece of the marriage puzzle.

After much study I realized that I had lost my status as King of the Castle. I had lost control over my marriage. My wife was in control, and contrary not only to popular belief, but to her own belief … control is not what she REALLY wanted. She really wanted a man in control.

If you say that my wife does not respect me, it is almost certain that you are not in control of the marriage as you should.

Once you are in control the right way, not only will you have to stop thinking that my wife does not respect me, but you will say that my wife adores me and, as a happy surprise, cannot take her hands off me. !
