Motivation: stay motivated twenty-four hours a day

Have you ever felt the need for inspiration? Have you ever run out of motivation? If there was a way to harness the power of motivation and follow through, how fast would you reach out and grab it? Find out how you can use the hypnotic power of symbols in your everyday life to stay motivated throughout the day.

In this article I am going to guide you on how to use the powerful symbols that you find around you and that you can surround yourself with. We will use two types of symbols: those of objects, buildings, statues, landmarks, etc. that you can find in your environment and then those items that you can buy or make that also inspire you and help you stay motivated. Since this is a very personal journey, I’m going to use a few examples, but I’ll leave the brand names up to you. I will share some success stories of loyal and satisfied customers who were able to overcome limitations, overcome obstacles, and stay motivated by using these methods that you are now learning.

1. Pick a particular location that helps you stay inspired and motivated. Most of the emotions we feel and then we think about why we feel those emotions, so let yourself feel and then analyze it. Consider some of the reasons why you feel that way about this place. Now that you know the emotion and have an idea of why this place inspires you, I want you to expand on this. Allow yourself to feel what other places, objects, and things give you a similar feeling of good motivation. Now make a list of your top 10 places, objects, people, symbols that inspire you and help you stay motivated.

2. Now find photos, images, drawings or statues of as many of these places as possible (for example, here in New York, they sell miniature statues of “The Statue of Liberty” and “Wall Street, Bowling Green Bull” for that you can actually carry these statues with you on a key chain etc. You can go to these places and take pictures and take these images with you as well. You can even do this with places you have never been before. A client had a La fascination with ancient Egypt and especially the pyramids and the pyramids have long been a very mysterious and intriguing symbol of power, magic and physics The hidden power you felt when seeing, feeling and being close to these objects.

3. So from the magical, the mystical, we’re going to move to a total consumer marketing point of view to achieve a similar goal. Look through your closets and around your house or apartment and the driveway. Look at the brands you bought and with which you are very happy. Most people who are satisfied with their purchase of Brand X will often buy more products from this company. We all have our own reasons and they are a mix of emotional (how it makes you feel) and logical (we often justify our purchases logically after feeling the desire to buy for the first time) You may buy a car because of good mileage, space, reliability, however, there is often a more emotional reason that inspires you to buy that car in the first place.

So, for example, a client seemed to do a lot of work and made many successful phone calls during the day while wearing expensive designer brand clothes and suits, and yet when he came home or on days off, he did nothing. We noticed that they wore their older pajamas or sweatpants as soon as they got home because when they were younger, their mom told them to change out of their good school clothes. This understanding allowed them to understand why they felt no motivation once they took off their “business magic wardrobe.” The solution was for them to find pajamas from similar brands that would inspire them while they were at home and even while they slept. They were inspired to do this because of a mesmerizing story I shared with them about martial arts class and a student who showed up in old sweatpants and no belt and how the Gi (martial arts uniform) serves a practical purpose as well as showing respect. and the belt and color ranking system also has hidden and not-so-hidden meaning and a long tradition.

Consider the logo or symbol a brand uses and understand that this is by design and represents the company and I bet you could easily identify ten logos of your favorite and least favorite brands. I also imagine that you now understand more about the power of symbols, logos and how they are used in marketing products and services and how you can harness this hidden power to help inspire and motivate you 24 hours a day.
