The Second World War remains intrinsically linked to our popular culture and this is evidenced in the different video game series that are based on it. Without a doubt, one of the most popular shooting games of WWII is Call of Duty. This is a long-standing popular game that originally debuted solely for personal computers. Today, Xbox is home to an amazing new variant of the traditional game called Call of Duty World at War. This is a much more sophisticated game than the original version that first appeared. Such sophistication has led to a bit of confusion in terms of how the game works. One of those questions that commonly arises is how does a player link accounts in Call of Duty? Fortunately, the process is much less complicated than many assume. All you need is some advice and a little direction.

The first step in linking accounts is visiting the multiplayer menu. From there, you will have two options depending on the particular game system you are using. If you play PlayStation 3, you will choose to Play Online. If you are using an Xbox 360, you will need to select the option for Xbox Live. This will take you to a new menu designed for the system you are using.

Once you have entered the new menu region, you will need to select the Barracks option. From here, your next step will be to select the Web Statistics option. Once you have done this, you will be presented with an original and unique web statistics code. Immediately copy the code and save it because this code will be the key to link accounts.

Now, go to the main games website at CallofDuty.com and log in. If you do not have an account, you will be asked to register. This process is not long or complicated and will only take a few minutes. When completing your registration, you will need to select the My Account feature. It is from the My Account section that you can start the process that will actively and properly link your accounts. The way it is done is simply by selecting the icon that appropriately reads Link Account.

As soon as you have finished selecting the Link Account icon, you will need to select a platform. Once the platform has been selected, you will be asked to provide your Player ID, which is either your Gamertag or your PSN ID. Immediately after doing this, you will be prompted to enter the web statistics code that you had previously purchased. You remembered to keep a log as suggested, right? Enter the web statistics code in the required box and hit enter. Once this is completed, you will need to go to your profile page and select the COD WW DOSSIER function. This is where you can complete the action of linking your accounts.

Again, the process is very simple and as long as players follow the recommended steps, they should be able to link accounts with little to no problems.
