Headaches – Powerful Natural Remedies Revealed!

The causes of headaches are many and it is always advisable to understand the root of all headaches before trying to counter them. Since such pains are nature’s means of warning us against internal disturbances, it is unwise to try to treat the headache alone, but to understand its source and treat both the cause and the symptom.

Among the most common conditions that cause headaches are eyestrain, stomach disorders, menstruation, hunger, high blood pressure, rheumatism, sinusitis, and nervous tension. If you know your body the way you should and are day-to-day conscious of your general health, there shouldn’t be many reasons why you can’t recognize and treat the cause of your headache.

While each case was diagnosed and treated individually, there was a general course of treatment used to alleviate the headaches. The entire pack was prescribed, to be taken over a period of one hour. Cold compresses were applied during the pack. Immediately after this, the patient was bathed in lukewarm water (86°). Finally, cold sprays (jets of water) were directed at the head and neck. In the case of nerve headache, the effusions were also directed to the spine, slowly moving up and down the patient’s back. The affusions were particularly successful. Light diets, particularly vegetarians, were also prescribed.

Zone therapy has been used with amazing results in the treatment of chronic headaches. I remember a thirty-year-old woman who had suffered the pain of chronic headaches for a period of two years without relief. The woman was dejected upon entering the sanitarium and it was necessary that her condition be treated immediately, lest she completely lose her sanity. Requiring the woman to open her mouth, I inserted a flat metal object into her mouth and pressed down on the roof of her mouth with such force that it nearly caused the woman to scream. Five minutes later, when the metal device (similar to a common spoon) was removed from her mouth, the woman could not believe what her own senses were saying. The headache, companion to her misery of two years, was completely gone.

This case cited above was not the exception but rather the rule when it came to relieving headaches. Time and time again, zone therapy has proven the answer to this problem. The application of zone therapy in the case of headaches varied only according to the area of the head affected. Where the pain was centered in the frontal area of the head, the pressure zone was applied to a corresponding point on the roof of the mouth.
