Europe swings both ways

Europe swings. Hard test: the EU overwhelmingly passed a resolution last month against “Homophobia in Europe”.

The liberals are dancing in the streets and the atmosphere is joyous – – unless you dare to disagree, as Don Feder puts it in “HOMOPHOBIA”, DEMOGRAPHIC DECLINE, ISLAMIC IMMIGRATION AND THE EUROPEAN DEATH WISH, stating: “Their campaign against homophobia is just the latest example of Europe’s rejection of Judeo-Christian morality.”

Europe swings from one extreme to the other. Still stinging from a history subject to the rigid rule of those under the influence of the Vatican, Europeans have gone too far in denying the leading role professing Christianity has played on their stage.

Free-for-all Europeans have stubbornly refused even to acknowledge their Catholic roots with a wink within their proposed Constitution; Roots that Pope John Paul II asked them to remember from Santiago and other places. How can these rogue European leaders cope with the enormous challenges ahead? It requires a sound mind and a strong character, a willingness to face harsh reality and not just wash it away with pretty platitudes.

What will the “fear of God” strike at the dark and deceitful heart of Europe? What wonders can the Bavarian pope do so that the masses will once again eat from his hand? Will a nuclear Iran or belligerent Egypt (suffering a coup) crash the party and wake up the living dead or has Europe become a reprobate with no conscience and no future?

Is pagan Europe capable of becoming a converted continent? With the double-edged sword of Islam and secularism poised to slash their throats, will the wayward EU act in time with a cool head and let logic and Biblical reason prevail?

Does the European Union have to choose between Catholicism and hedonism? Secularism certainly could not save them because ethnic Europeans would either die out or be vastly outnumbered by immigrant armies with their breeding jihad. Empty secularism could never resist the drive and determination of foreign bodies that would strip them of their carnal liberties. Will Europe consider Catholicism the lesser of two evils when it realizes that it is written on the wall and must choose? After all, it is a familiar face and not that of a stranger.

Feder’s penetrating article concluded: “The book that the European intelligentsia has rejected holds the key. In it, God says to Israel: ‘I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose, then , life, so that both you and your seed might live.'”

What many northwestern Europeans fail to recognize is their Hebrew roots, their Israelite origins, and that the Book they are to be guided by does not sanction Islam or Catholicism, but rather warns against both! There are an alternate way that Herbert Armstrong, ambassador for world peace without a political portfolio, presented to many of his heads of state.

If Europe loses this once-in-a-lifetime chance to get things right, to remember its biblical roots and responsibilities, it will soon fall under the spell of Germany and the Jesuits and swing back to the extreme right: “…the new Europe : beast crawling towards Brussels…” is about to be struck by lightning — turned into a bloodthirsty beast bowing down to Berlin.
