The problem is that the Internet is full of fraudulent “online business opportunities” so no one is comfortable diving in, even when they come across a legitimate business to get into.

Yes, you have reason to be completely skeptical of anything that makes outrageous claims of wealth overnight or is guaranteed success in making money online. Even scammers are bold enough to tell you that their product or system is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I have seen it over and over again in almost every online money making system.

Affiliate marketing is basically this. People who own or create products (anything. TVs, pet supplies, e-books, software, whatever) outsource their advertising efforts to people to keep costs down. With other people doing the work for them, they spend much less time and money getting sales. Almost everything you buy on the Internet can be sold through an affiliate program, by affiliate marketers.

If you search for affiliate marketing on the internet, you will see thousands of products designed to teach you the basics. Most of them have fake screenshots of earnings and claim that you can earn as much money as they can if you buy their product.

I have purchased some of the latest affiliate marketing guides including CopyNProfit, Maverick Money Makers, Affiliate Conspiracy, Wealthy Affiliate, etc.

Most of these products have outdated material or leave out key ingredients for success in the field of Internet marketing.
