How to get moist skin in 5 easy steps

Soft, moist skin is sexy. A wet face says, “I am young, I am healthy and yes, I look good.” Any self-respecting fashionista has her secret tactics to get that kissed for a beauty haze look. But if your recipe for making your skin glow without looking greasy has somehow failed you, read on, because in a matter of minutes your skin and your inner Queen (or King) of Vanity will thank you.

Step 1: soften your skin

Your skin is a canvas. You can paint beautifully on bare walls, but you can’t “paint beautifully” on skin ravaged by a rough texture. Therefore, the first step to getting a fun, wet look is to remove the dead, dry, and unsightly layers from your skin.

A cheap and painless way to do this is with a two dollar bottle to remove the cuticle. Yes, that is correct. You don’t always need a $ 90 facial to peel off uneven layers of your skin when a makeshift “skin softener” is enough.

Cuticle removers dissolve skin proteins while detergents like sulfates lift and remove dirt. Also, some cuticle removers contain agents like sodium chloride to leave skin moist. To soften your skin with a cuticle remover, do the following:

    1. Cleanse your face with your favorite facial soap, I will only suggest your basic glycerin soap. 2. Pat your skin dry. 3. Apply a layer of the cuticle remover to your face while avoiding the eye area. 4. Let the cuticle remover dry. act on the skin for one or two minutes 5. Rinse off the cuticle remover

Step 2: create layers of moisture

The real key to achieving that dewy, dewy look is having moisture-rich skin. Dry, unhealthy skin will never look vibrant and wet. With that, our next steps on the road to “Operation Wet Face” is to infuse the skin with a large amount of moisture.

Step 3: design and use a face mist

My favorite thing to do in the morning is spray my face with my own custom face mist. I created this mist for less than three dollars, whereas I would have to shell out over $ 20 to buy a similar facial mist in stores. Here’s how to make your own face mist:

    1. Get a 4-8 ounce bottle with a spray nozzle or go green and recycle one you have at home. 2. Go to the pharmacy and go to the skincare aisle. Grab a 4-ounce bottle of “rose water” with glycerin. This is a generic natural skin care product and therefore inexpensive. However, don’t let the price fool you. This robbery has just about all the elements you need to make a top-notch facial mist: a rose hydrosol and a moisture-blocking ingredient, glycerin. 3. While you’re shopping, get a bottle of witch hazel. It will cost you between two and four dollars. 4. Now, mix two ounces of the “rose water” mixture with two ounces of witch hazel in your bottle with a spray nozzle. Now you have a wonderful facial mist. 5. You can personalize this face mist by adding a few drops of essential oils such as ravensara, rose, lavender, geranium, or ylang-ylang. Plus, you can add a rosemary, mint, or citrus spring to your haze for additional botanical benefits.

Step 4: add layers of moisture to your skin

Now that you have smooth, clean skin and a facial mist, you are ready to build the layers of hydration that will create that lovely dewy look.

Here’s how you create those layers of moisture once you’ve smoothed out your skin with cuticle remover:

    1. Spray your skin with your facial mist. A slight layer of visible moisture should remain on your skin. Subsequent coats of moisturizers will lock in the moisture that this facial spray offers. 2. Now this step may seem silly, but it makes a noticeable difference in the final appearance of your skin. Clean your hands. Next, rub your hands with a deep moisturizing hand cream. This step is important because you are using your hands to apply a moisturizer to your face. If your hands are dry and chapped, your fingers will absorb much of the moisturizer intended for your face. 3. Then, if it’s daytime, apply sunscreen (even if your foundation has sunscreen). If it’s nighttime, apply a light face cream instead. 4. Spray your face one more time with the face mist, but use a lighter coat than you used before. This spray does not need to be visible. 5. Next, mix a pea-sized amount of your liquid foundation with a pea-sized amount of your facial moisturizer. 6. Apply foundation and moisturizer combination to your face. Dewy is ready.

Step 5: repeat

Now, every day, repeat step four, while making sure to smooth the skin with a cuticle remover or compatible skin care product. This repetition is essential because each day you infuse your skin with moisture, you prepare it for a fresh, healthy and dewy appearance. Enjoy the dew.
