How not to get scopes in Halo 3

As a professional Halo 3 player, one thing people always ask me is “how do I get good with the sniper rifle?”

Well, before I give you some good advice, we need to talk about your TV and controller settings. I play with the vibration off. .

The reason for this is when shooting is a must, especially without looking with a steady hand. Yes

you are trying to shoot someone and your controller vibrates, it is likely to scare you and make you “jerk” which can cause you to miss shots.

I also recommend using a wired controller. The reason is that there is a slight lag in the wireless controllers, which makes their reactions a bit slower. You need all the advantages to achieve those clutch snipers.

Now let’s talk about your TV. Large televisions make it more difficult to target screen lag due to, especially large plasma and LCD screens. I play on a 22 inch CRT TV. I know it would seem like a large TV would make aiming easier, but this is not the case. While large TVs look good, they are not suitable for competitive gaming.

Another thing to keep in mind is the sensitivity with which you play. The default sensitivity

is 3. Most pros play 4-6. I myself use 4. Higher sensitivity does not always mean better.

Anything over 6 will be very difficult to shoot.

Now, on my advice …

Tip # 1- When there is no range, do not charge your opponent, let them charge you, this makes it easier to put your like where their head is and kill. This way you can target where your opponent is going to be.

Tip # 2- It’s easier to be out of range when you’re at a higher elevation than your opponent, such as being at the top of a ramp and your enemy is at the bottom. So when you’re under an enemy, maybe it’s better to use another weapon.

Tip No. 3 A good time to have no reach / beating or no reach is when someone is approaching an airlift and you are waiting for them to arrive. The reason this is true is because your body only moves up and down, not side to side. This makes it easy to predict where they will be and kill them. The lift put them in one motion and they always go up in the exact same way, so practice this.

Tip No. 4: Do not use the visor in narrow corridors. The reason for this is that there is not much room for your enemy to go, so the probability of getting killed is quite good.

The advice n. 5 is obvious, but look for the cursor to turn red and shoot. Also, if you hit someone once, go for the beating, don’t try to take another shot.

Tip No. 6 It is not better to do a close search because the target is bigger when it is closer and can go for the hit.

That’s all I have for now, so practice these tips and you’ll go nuts without scopes before you know it.
