History of plasma arc loudspeakers

Plasma arc speakers are a particular type of speaker, where varying air pressure creates sound. It occurs through a corona discharge or electric arc. These speakers consist of a tweeter, which is much more improved than the traditional tweeter.

Plasma arcing is actually a technology that was first used in the metal industry way back in the 1800s. The intent of using this technology was to provide high heat. After this came plasma heaters. They were used in the chemical industry in the 1900s. Plasma heaters were used to produce acetylene fuel from natural gas. This technology was largely used in the 1980s. After these experiments, plasma was used in speakers.

The history of plasma arc loudspeakers is closely related to the history of loudspeakers. In 1876 Alexander Graham Bell invented the first loudspeaker. But that was invented as part of the telephone. Ernst Siemens developed this instrument a little bit in 1978. Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla also did something closer to loudspeakers.

Oliver Lodge invented the first modern loudspeaker design in 1898. In the early stages, electromagnets were used instead of large, powerful permanent magnets. Actually, the latter was not available at the time. The speakers have changed their appearance many times. And this constant flow of experimentation gave rise to different types of speakers. Plasma arc loudspeakers were born from this experimentation.

Electrical plasma is used as a conductor in plasma arc loudspeakers. Plasma is charged and has minimal mass, so an electric field can manipulate them. It causes an output, which is very linear. And the frequency becomes much higher than the audible range. Dr. Allan Hill invented a new type of plasma arc speaker. He used helium instead of ozone and nitrous oxide.

This particular type of speaker provides you with many facilities. It has modern technology. These speakers give you clear sound. The effects of these speakers are also brilliant. Bass and treble effects are very well balanced in this speaker. It also consists of a tweeter, which is much more advanced than the conventional one.

The magnetic field that varies with the input changes its position immediately. But this change is prevented by the inertia of the driver in the case of conventional loudspeakers. The devices have some physical limitations that distort the inputs. And it decreases the reliability of the speaker. There is another reason for this distortion and that is the strong high frequency.

Plasma arc speakers changed their appearance over time. Slowly different types of speakers emerged. Different brands had manufactured these speakers. All of them have provided some facilities. Panasonic, Sony, Hitachi, etc These are all some popular brands of this speaker. These can be expensive. But always remember that you are spending your money on something useful. So do not hesitate to invest your money in this purpose. And always buy products from reputable companies. So go ahead and experience the effect of plasma arc speakers.
