Best: Nets @ Grizzlies: The Atlantic division looked like a crop bud after the Celtics were dismantled in the offseason. However, the Nets have emerged as a clear leader. They still need a big man who can run like Kenyon Martin did. Krstic is a goalkeeper, but Collins can be eliminated. Pau Gasol should have a productive game against the Nets. He needs more touches to elevate his superstar status. Expected score: Memphis wins in a tight 95-92

Runner-up: Wizards @ Pacers: Even with virtually everyone out, Indiana has still played well enough to win several close games. Gilbert Arenas and Stephen Jackson play pretty much the same way and there will be roughly 13 3-point attempts between them. Antawn Jamison has to score 30 for a Wizards win. Expected score: Indiana wins despite Wizards scare 98-93

Blast: 76ers @ Celtics: If the rivalry between these two resumes, the blowouts could, too. Boston owned the Sixers for the entire 1950-60s. Al Jefferson has shown potential in his shortest start, but hasn’t really produced. This would be a great game for him to step up his game to a new level.Expected score: Boston win 100-84
