Did you know that, unlike other marketing methods, potential customers can read bulk SMS? That is a great advantage. Read on to find out how to take advantage of this element.

  • Year Email it can be deleted without opening it first, much less reading it.
  • TO phone call it can be rejected while it is ringing.
  • Ads in the Newspaper it can be ignored by turning the page.
  • Ads in TV it can be ignored by simply pressing a button on the remote control.
  • TO radio The jingle can be ignored simply by changing seasons.
  • Ads in the Internet it can be ignored by navigating to another site.

But … SMS is guaranteed to be read … because by design … it CANNOT be ignored. Or do you know of a way to delete a text message without opening it first?

Perhaps if there was a way to delete a text message without reading it first, many people will delete it when they see the sender ID without looking at the content of the SMS. But for now, I have yet to see a phone with that capability.

And that is a great advantage for you.

But, hey, don’t do this to your recipients …

Don’t spam people with bulk SMS. Only send SMS to people you have permission to send text messages to. Also, send only relevant text messages. Only relevant SMS remain and are not deleted immediately.

I am giving you this advice because just because I noticed that by design SMS cannot be deleted without reading it first doesn’t mean you need to send “anyway” SMS simply because people will always read it. Rather, spend quality time doing the right things and doing them excellently and success will happen, naturally.

Well, let’s get back to the point. To add fire to what we’re talking about in this chapter, let me introduce you to a very powerful concept that I learned from legendary internet marketing coach, Mark Joyner. The concept is known as Deadly ground battle.

Are you fighting a deadly ground battle?

In military warfare, there are many reasons why combat can occur. One of them that serves our purpose here is Deadly Ground. Mark Joyner paraphrases Sun Tzu in the Deadly Ground battle as follows: “A Deadly Ground battle occurs when two forces meet and there is no escape route for either of them. It becomes a pure fighting battle. or death … and there can only be one winner. “

According to him, in a Deadly Ground battle, the strongest fighter is always the winner.

Applying it to marketing or any communication process that has to do with persuasion, the strongest force is forever your potential customer because all she does to win is just ignore your ad. And she will have nothing to lose as a result.

Wisdom demands that you MUST NOT participate in this type of battle at all.

But I see many companies and communicators fighting this kind of battle with their clients and prospects every day; battles that are always true to lose.

But with bulk SMS, it is virtually impossible to ignore text messages without reading them first. According to CTIA.org, 97% of text messages are read in minutes.

That’s another compelling reason to adopt bulk SMS in your communications and marketing campaigns.

Now let me point this out (very important): If your prospect or customer reads your SMS, deletes it, and takes no positive action, it’s still a Deadly Ground battle. Therefore, you need to craft your message in such a way that it is useful to the potential customer at the time.

How to do it is beyond the scope of this article, but it still needs to be said. There you have it, one of the phenomenal powers of bulk SMS. What prevents you from taking advantage of bulk SMS?
